With current trends moving away from more traditional religious ceremonies, such as baptisms, people are looking for creative and expressive ways to welcome their child into their lives with a ceremony that is meaningful, joyful and a true expression of their own family. As a celebrant I have witnessed the wonderful way a baby naming ceremony marks this special moment in your life.

FUNERALS & MEMORIAL SERVICES
To honour & acknowledge the life & death of a loved one & to share the experience & emotions of loss with those remaining. To stand in stillness and honour what has come to pass. To gather together to celebrate & mourn our losses, to create a space for sharing loss with our chosen community. As a celebrant I have been honoured to perform funerals that encompass the respect, love and memory the ceremony requires.
RITES OF PASSAGE.
A rite of passage is a significant moment in all our lives, to honour and mark this moment with ceremony is to recognise the important transitions we pass through as we travel through our lives.: the stepping from childhood into adulthood with maiden-mitzvah/bah-mitzvah/ on-set of puberty rites; the passage into menopause as women moved through the 3 cycles of the Goddess : Maiden to Mother to Crone, a passage to be honoured and celebrated for the potency & wisdom that comes with age. The end of a long & difficult illness; the end of a relationship/divorce ; & freedom from addiction to name a few. As a celebrant I cherish and delight in finding ways to bring a new light and joy into marking our journey throughout our lives with ceremony and ritual. I have performed ceremonies on the Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Brisbane and further North in Queensland.
GAY & LESBIAN COMMITMENT CEREMONIES.
As a couple your union as a loving & legally recognised couple has the right to be celebrated with a wedding, however, until our laws are changed and marriage is available to you, the option for a commitment ceremony remains a validating & joy filled option for gay and lesbian couples to have a wedding ceremony. I delight in celebrating diversity and look forward to the day when we all can have the ceremony of our choice whether a wedding or commitment.
BOAT NAMING & DE-NAMING CEREMONIES.
Living here on the beautiful Gold Coast so close to the water many people chose boating/yachting as a wonderful way to enjoy their free time, the re-naming, de-naming & naming of a boat is an important ceremony for those who wish to appease the Gods of the Sea...
